Looks good.

T-Top car, first mod MUST be subframe connectors!

Makes all the difference in the world!

ill second that

Nice

Brings back some good memories :stuck_out_tongue:

haha nice…another thirdgen around here

did you get the complimentary mullet with it?

Wasn’t that one on Craigslist for a while? Good stuff. Definitely go Subframe connectors, and I swear if you swap the older Z28 gfx for the 91-92 ones I’ll cut your throat. <3

Great to see another turd-gen here!

Nice!

Yea, and there will be another in a week or so. I am trading my wagon for an 89 GTA. 350TPI, T-Tops, vortec heads, unknown cam, vortec base, AS&M runners. Should be fun. I’ve nicknamed it “80 grit” because it is pretty rough. Fun rolling through thirdgen.org, and seeing all the old names still there.

That is the one off craigslist, Car runs and moves great. 25k on the rebuild motor and trans. Its a 5 speed car. The inside needs redone. Very little rust, a lot of it is just surface rust. I am going to help him with it. Its a great project car, I think at least. i am going to ask some questions from you f-body guys when he and i start on it.

never enough!

If you’re going to do the body work, pull the GFX off and check for rust as they like to trap water in there and rot the body away.

wow i never seen so many mullet machines in one post

good luck

yea this is gonna be harder than i thought

these cars are old, they require alot of work. its not always fun but i guess its worth it

It’s definitely an HUGE undertaking. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed with it. Just remember that it’s going to take a lot of time. Step back, and tackle it one thing at a time.

I got yer mullet right here fuckers…

They have lots of hard-to-find 3rd gen parts. Not cheap tho…
