1990 honda civic GSR swap

FS Item(s) Description:

  • Putting up for sale my EF civic, with a refreshed GSR swap and trans.
Tons has been done to this car, has been my project while in school.
I have no more time for it and need a daily that I don’t worry about.
The joy of priorities. The car is nearly complete, runs and drives normally, however needs a few emissions components and wiring clean up.

on to the details:
Roof rack
Flat black finish, roof rack, lowered on tokico blues and ground control coilovers.
5 panel wink mirror.
wood grain wheel.
mp3 deck and sub/amp combo, with two box speakers chilling on the rear seats. (they could be upgraded)
Comes with full set of meaty winter tires, and a summer set of rota J-mag rims with 2 tires in good shape, and two being camber worn.

Swap details:
D15 got pulled out
jdm gsr and trans swapped in.
Gaskets on engine were refreshed.
Axle seals on trans were done.
Pretty much new clutch, as I have barely driven the car.
New 2.5 inch Yonaka Cat back exhaust from Teknotik.
New Cat
New timing belt and tensioner
obd0-obd1 conversion harness, and repinned obd1 distributor plugs.
New starter with warranty
DPFI to MPFI conversion done correctly
Full hydraulic conversion. I am using the “Suja one” conversion kit.
Master cylinder actuates on the pedal assembly. Custom line and fitting have been run.
Integra cluster wired up instead of old cluster.
alpine mp3 deck, 2 kicker subs and amp for audio boost.

What she needs:
3 CEL codes-> 10,14,43
-IACV needs to be replaced.
-Air intake temp sensor (have a new one I will include with sale)
-Fuel supply or vacuum leak code (have not looked into this but on idle the rpms aren’t steady. -When driving it is completely normal, pulls hard.)
-There is an exterior hole in the floor prior to me owning it, looks like the previous owner bottomed out bad as the car is pretty clean under.
-Wiring needs to be cleaned up as it is loose in the cabin and engine bay. (Reason for this was the CEL codes. Until they were cleared, I did not want to loom everything together just to rip it apart again.) I will also explain the entire process to the buyer as per what goes where and why.

Asking Price:
Not sure how to price this, have easily dumped $3k aside from buying the car. Would prefer trades for someone looking for this kind of vehicle.

Putting it up at $3000 OBO with a trades preferable onus.
I am an honest seller, plenty of people on here can vouch for me.

Location:

  • Sauga (will meet people close by, as the car is not registered)

hey, i am interested but wondering why would you need cheek engine light codes? it’s a 1990 you don’t need cheek engine to pass the etest on cars older then 1997.

They aren’t needed per say, however, as I stated, these two sensors affect the air/fuel ratio. The car is running richer as I have attempted an etest and ended up double on C0% over the limit. Hence, they will need to be addressed.
If it is to be someone’s track car, then who cares. To plate it? Necessary.

Just trying to be as transparent as I’d like to be treated as a buyer.
