The following car is currently available through a supplier in Japan - the price is 440,000 yen FOB, which should work out to be around $7,800 landed including estimated costs for shipping, import duty, GST, AC tax and our service fee (excluding registration/inspection costs)

Quick question not necessarily concerning the sale of the car:
What is with the huge, ugly double din decks i see in soo many japanese cars? They do such nice things with the cars, and then throw in the biggest deck possible…I just don’t get it.
Car looks awesome, and at that price I don’t see it lasting too long.
Its the flashy lights and EQ on those decks that are so appealing to them hence the double DIN. They are all MiniDisc equipped as well, so I dont know if that contributes to the size.
There are a lot of double DIN units in Japan but they also use single DIN ones sometimes too … I am not sure why they choose double DIN, it’s not just for the CD/MD combo because there are a lot around with both that are in single DIN still.
I have noticed a huge increase in the number of cars coming factory standard with double DIN now so that is the most likely reason.
If only J-Spec Import’s prices were THAT good, I would pick up one of these RIGHT NOW. I’ve been looking for a white 'Line with a GT-R wing and body kit like this since God knows when. However, add their $1,000 CAD service charge, as well as the S&H from Vancouver to Toronto that they DO NOT tell you about (this is the fee that makes it impossible for me to afford any 'Line on their site at the time being), and you got yourself a whole new price touching the $10,000 CAD line. By the way, to the owner of J-Spec Imports, please message me with your number, because I want to talk to you about importing one of these 'Lines. Thanks. …
