I don’t really want to sell this.

With a hefty recent job promotion, and a shitload of continuous overtime coming up after this weekend… Looks like a good time to stockpile, save up and buy a house.
Like I said though, I don’t really want to sell this… Sooo lowballs are fail.

That’s the previous sale thread.
Since I’ve owned it, it’s got some shiny new (well greesy new) Ball joints on the pass side, as the ones that were on it were pretty damn sucky.

However, because when I purchased it the alignment was wayyy the fuck off (ball joint), two of the tires are pretty damn shitty on the inside.
I still run with them, they work fine… I don’t drive it in the rain, so no big deal for me.
It was since aligned as well.
Oil change was done a couple weeks ago.

and some misc tuneups/greasing since I took ownership of it.

The list of mods were in the old thread, and hmm…
The cam in it, is a [/SIZE][/SIZE]224/224 .573/.565 107 LSA cam from Lloyd Elliot (I emailed and asked).

Ford #30 Injectors
Mid length Headers
Comp Cam valvetrain
SLP LM Exhaust (It’s fucking loud and rumbly for a LT1)

Also comes with 5 stock rims, 2 with tires (one decent, one shit)

I’ve put a little under 1k on it since I’ve owned it, btw.
edit; and it says original paint in the old thread, but I’m pretty positive it was repainted.
Looks too damn good, and there’s spots where you can tell it was repainted…

Rides 70ish fine, no hard pulling or such.
It does start to vibrate quite a bit past about 4k RPMs.

It rolls quite fine with the tires it has now, it can use two new rears, but doesn’t need them. They’re just in pretty bad shape compared to the fronts (or you can put the shitty ones on the front, and good on the back… whatever)
No idea on power wise, Plans were to put a 58MM TB on it, then throw it on a dyno for a tune and get some exact numbers then, rather than guesses.

Yeah, it’s a common problem with the T56 I guess.
If the car has been shifted in to any gear since it was started, it will go in reverse fine and easy. Just needs to build up hydraulic pressure in the clutch (so people claim). So pumping the clutch and moving the shifter in/out of gears gets it to work.

realistically speaking, what does this thing get for mpg?

I get about 16-18mpg mixed.
On a trip to Lakeside Campground (was visiting my parents up there) about two hours away, it went 18.3mpg.
Had no problems driving either way, was all 45-60mph… with a little cities mixed in.

Has 160 degree Tstat, sometimes on super fucking hot days it’ll go up to 180-190 when idling at a stop light after a long cruise, then go back down to ~165 after you get going again.

I was expecting far fucking worse, but then again I drive it like a baby and don’t get on it all the time.
So I imagine if you’re always romping the fuck out of it, you’ll get pretty shit mpg.

Cause it’s fuckin beastly, that’s why.

Probably the poly motor mounts I assumed.
Doesn’t vibrate as if the motor is out of balance, just… stiff mounts.

but then again i’m not a car expert, so I can’t say.
Vibrates more and more at a constant rate, lol.

Not like… smooth up to 3.9k, then at 4k it starts feeling like it’s about to fall apart.
