1994 Civic LX 5 speed...3000obo or trade for nissan/toyota mini truck or older diesel

It’s time to sell probably the most reliable Honda i’ve ever had. I’ve had the car for about a year and put roughly 30k on it driving back and forth from DC to Rochester. The car just rolled 197k but will go up as it’s my daily and will continue to make the trip from D il it is gone.

I am the third owner of this car, i bought it at ~165k from some in Virginia who bought it at 145k from an older couple who owned the car since it was new. Car has been well maintained all it’s life, including by myself…i have put many new parts on in the last year.

1994 Honda Civic Lx Sedan, everything works as it should inside and out (except the damn cup holder, can’t win with them).
~197k
Gray interior in pretty good condition, dash is mint and seats are 7-8/10. Some panels are scratched and the carpet is kind of dirty and worn, but better than a lot of Hondas i’ve seen.

Good:

-D15 with 5 Speed runs like a damn top
-Power Windows
-Power Locks
-Power Mirrors
-A/C
-Cruise
-New Plugs/Wires ~15k ago
-New Brake Master Cylinder ~15k ago
-New Shifter Bushings ~15k ago
-New Cooper tires ~15k ago, 8/32 all around
-New Tie Rods (L&R) ~15k ago
-New front pads and rotors 5k ago
-New rear drums, shoes and hardware 5K ago
-Oil changed religiously every 3k with full synthetic
-Clutch is good
-Wired for an Amp and Sub
-Consistently averages 34+ mpg, and tips 40-42 mpg when driving back to Rochester
-The car needs nothing mechanically

Not so Good:

-Faded/Chipped Clear Coat on hood and roof
-Some small marks/dents but nothing crazy
-Minimal Amount of rust on rear quarters, not rotten but starting on the surface. Could be probably be fixed without cutting anything.

The car is completely bone stock minus an AEM intake, and 2.25 inch stainless exhaust with Thrush muffler which the previous owner installed.

Like i said, i drive this car every two weeks from DC to Rochester and it sucks i have to loose it, the only reason i’m getting rid of it is because i’m going to need a small truck.

I am asking 3000 or best offer

I’m in the military and don’t get a chance to check this site that often, so if anyone is interested you could text/call me if you’d like…(585)490-1307

this car is a fantastic DD and drives great. I’ve had the pleasure of working on this and driving it. You won’t find a cleaner sedan around here.

Bump, if there is any interest ill be home to show the car this weekend.

Looks like a nice car. Might have to try and check it out this weekend. Looking to get into something smaller and more reliable, but would have to sell my car first.

That’s cool, let me know if you’re interested or want to take a look. It is my daily as of right now so it will be continued to be driven and maintained unless someone buys it.

Maybe I missed it but has the TB and WP been done?

I was told it was believed to have been done at 150k (no receipt) but honestly for the 30-40k miles I’ve had the car I haven’t been concerned about it because it’s given me zero problems and has always ran basically perfect

These are getting harder and harder to find…such a great generation Civ…good luck seller…

TRUE^

ENGINE BAY AND INTERIOR PICS?

Interior and engine bay pics up, sorry about the shitty quality…taken from my phone. I can take more detailed ones if anyone is interested.

Simple enough on the SOHC that whoever buys it should just do it… instead of blowing the motor on a good DD-

GLWS

Able to show this weekend, no one needs a dead reliable daily/commuter car?
