$10000 is all the lower I’ll go. I know its a lot to ask for an LT1 car, but its a clean ride and I don’t have to sell it.
1994 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
101K miles, fully loaded, T tops, LT1, auto
Drivetrain
LT1 internally stock except valve springs, P600b Procharger kit pushing 8 lbs, 58mm TB, Pacesetter Ceramic LT headers, ORY, Borla exhaust, all emissions removed.
The following parts are brand new or have around 5K miles on them: opti, plugs, wires, every gasket except rear main, timing chain, O2s, knock sensor, coil, ign mod, MAF, IACV, LT4 knock module, starter, hoses, clamps, rad, waterpump, belts, tensioner pullies, poly motor mounts.
Performabuilt level 2 4L60e with a cooler and 3K stall. Stock 10 bolt with 3.73s.
The engine bay has a partial wire tuck, the alternator, PS reservoir, hood latch cable, fuel lines, overflow tank, and a new Optima red top have all been relocated, no AC or ABS, strut tower brace.
Suspension and brakes
Eibach Pro springs, adj KYBs, new poly bushings, Spohn K frame, sub frame connectors, tunnel mounted adj torque arm with driveshaft loop, adj lower control arms with welded on relocation brackets, adj panhard bar, stock swaybars with new links. LS1 front brakes, ceramic pads, new front lines, Russell stainless brake hoses, ARP wheel studs. New ZR1 replica wheels, 17x9 with 275 Sumitomos up front, 17x11 with 315s out back. I also have a set of Summit 15x8 Fast Fives with 26x10.50x15 MT ET Streets for the track.
Exterior and Interior
The paint is in good condition considering the age and mileage of the car. No rust at all, a few tiny dings. I sprayed the sail panel and mirrors black so that with the tinted windows it kinda looks two tone. The “ceta mod” or the area around the exhaust and plate on the rear bumper has been sprayed flat black. LS1 Honey comb tail lights and smoked clear corners. The t tops DON’T leak.
The tan interior is nice also. I just had the headliner and visors rewrapped and the leather on side bolsters on both front seats fixed. Carpet cleans up well. Overall no major defects other than a couple scratches on plastics, etc. Kenwood head unit, Rockford amp, JL W3 10" sub in a hideaway box.
Overall it is a nice street/strip car. It made 409hp and 407lb ft on the dyno at Sarver Performance when Brian Herter of PCMforless tuned it last year. The car is good for high 11s at the track. Its as driveable as stock, runs well and overall needs nothing to get in and drive it home. I have a lot of money in this car and it must be seen in person to appreciate. Its not 110% perfect but is definitely car show worthy.
