x2 :eek3:
this would be the path you want to take for alot of fun in a DD while still keeping the reliability.
also if your using a walbro 255, add to your list a fuel pressure regulator.
I drive around with lifter tap, synthetic did not get rid of it. at some point I may replace them if I do hopefully it will be with something less expensive than these http://www.dsmparts.com/customer/product.php?productid=188&cat=&page=1
Take them out and clean them. www.vfaq.com is your friend
well, the lifter tap is gone for some reason without changing anything, it was on the first day when it was bought, maybe it had been sitting too long.
lifter tick possibley. do whatever the fuck you want with your car its urs. if you want 500hp its not gonna be cheap, and its gonna take alot of time maybe a few years unless you have deep pockets and are a great mechanic with lots of spare time. Just research this stuff, get accainted with parts dealers because your gonna be calling them always askin where you parts are. if you want that amount of hp do it dont let ppl stop ya its just gonna take ya a bit
not to start a lucas debate, but i use it everywhere… in my tiltbed, in my drag car… it quiets the diesel down rediculously and every winter teardown of the drag car, the bearings get better and better.
can’t argue with watching it in a gearbox behind a glass panel.
well maybe its just not ment to go in a gearbox then :dunno:
is there vids online that show it?
so we have 1 good review and 1 bad review. Maybe ill make a new post with a poll on lucas oil to see what the rest of the forum thinks.
a friend of mine went 13.1 on the lame t25 in an awd
I think its bobtheoilguy.com
thats it… good info. i guess its definitly in question.
…carry on.
