I’m selling my 1999 Honda Accord EX, because I just bought a 2006 EXL Accord. I am the second owner and have owned it for the last five years. I bought it with 145 thousand miles on it and it now has 170 thousand miles. It is a 5 speed manual, I replaced the original clutch, slave and master cylinder two winters ago. While owning the car I’ve replaced a couple stabilizer links, one wheel baring, ignition switch which was a recall. Rotors and pads were done earlier this year. One caliper changed. When it comes to the motor oil, I use Mobil 1 and changed it every 5 thousand miles. I changed the transmission fluid every 15 thousand miles. The first owner sprayed the under body with Waxoyl, a hard rubber base rust proofing agent. Underneath the car looks great, only rust on the car is on the wheel wells, trunk, hood, rear driver door and quarter panel, but not as bad as I’ve seen for the miles. I also have an Excalibur car starter that comes with the car.
