I’m selling my 1999 Honda Accord EX (never smoked in), because I just bought a 2006 Accord. I am the second owner and have owned it for the last five years. I bought it with 145,000 miles on it and it now has 170,000 miles. It is a 5 speed manual, I replaced the original clutch, slave and master cylinder two winters ago. While owning the car I’ve replaced a couple stabilizer links, one wheel baring, ignition switch (recall), rotors and pads every now and then. Rotors and pads were done earlier this year. One caliper changed. When it comes to the motor oil, I use Mobil 1 and changed it every 5 thousand miles. I changed the tranny fluid twice since owning it. The first owner sprayed the under body with Waxoyl, a hard rubber base rust proofing agent. Underneath the car looks great, only rust on the car (which is minimal) is on the wheel wells, trunk, hood, rear driver door and quarter panel, but not as bad as I’ve seen for the miles.
