For sale is my old winter car , It is a 1999 Nissan Sentra SE(SR20DE), 5sp Manual, 143,000 miles, Clean Title (no liens or salvage title). Great on gas, 25-27mpg mixed driving.

Pros -
New Alternator
New Starter
Brake pads and rotors only have about 10k miles on them, plenty of life left
Battery about a year or so old
Engine and transmission does not burn or leak anything
No Cels
Have receipts from work that has been done to it over the last few years
Electric Sun Roof, windows, locks, alarm system. Was fully loaded for that year when it came from factory

Cons-
Will probably need a new front wheel bearing, ball joint and tires by winter
Looks, rust from a lot of winters it has been through and dent in driver side door from someone backing into it
Mild hesitation in lower RPMs(2-3k-ish range) caused by knock sensor, no Cel though and is fine during daily driving

Reason for selling, I bought a new car

Waht a shame that it’s so rotted out. I would have been veery interested. My mom had one of these, a 2000, it was a ton of fun with the SR20 and 5 speed…

lowered the asking price since I want this gone. Also wanted to add that it probably will need a new ball joint too by winter, they are only $20 or so on rock auto. The wheel bearing is also $22 at Napa. I am surprised no one needs a cheap winter car

I 'm sure that engine will mated with and older SE-R tranny, or maybe a Lincoln locker is a good use of those open trans.

What brand of header is that?

It is a about a 4 year old generic ebay header, along with most of the exhaust system(used to have a fart cannon). Only changed out parts are the flex pipe and the muffler

It will be getting some TLC and some parts out of the race car pile this weekend :slight_smile: Also found the knock sensor on amazon.com for $18

Was going to talk Cuz into 400 bucks and see how much spray it would handle.
