2000 Subaru Impreza2.5RS Custom

I don’t wanna do it but I think its time to maybe let my gem go… I have different priorities now and would like to see if maybe I can find my car a good owner that will baby it as I did. What a treat this thing is to drive, It feels very tight in every way.

Here are some pic’s of my car. These pic’s where taken before the Ver5 STI springs/struts/Group N’s where installed 3 months ago. They gave the car a 25mm drop and looks very nice now with the fenders filled in with tires. Also the NUR Spec muffler is not shown, my old Apex’i muffler is in those pics. It is a very clean and well maintained car. It has been stored in the winter months since 2006. I kept my High flow catalytic for E-test purposes. I don’t have E-test where I am yet so that’s why I can use the track pipe.

My goal was to turn this Impreza into a true JDM STI swapped replica with a unique look, but I just can’t afford the final 2 pieces to finalize the project… The STI engine and 6 speed tranny… Perhaps the new owner can finish what I started and get the swap of choice in as they choose to do so. It does NOT need to be swapped because the current motor/tranny are in perfect working order. I thought to build around the two final “Gems” first, so that that the car could handle the added power.

It will be terribly missed if I sell it… I have kept all the work orders and receipts. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the car as I have fixed anything that’s come up, properly. It has never been in an accident.
Has won a second place award and 1st place award back to back last two years for best import.

Most complete swap ready you’ll find. Shifts very smooth, no notchy feel. Brakes are super quick to stop, and car pulls very well, especially with the Crawford Performance SRS-20 ECU Re-Flash. Maintained very well, with new synthetic oil/OEM filter going in the motor every 3500Kms. Cleaned/polished/waxed regularly and properly. Clean engine bay and interior in mint!

US/Canadian spec MKIVs start at $30,000 for a decent, unmolested stock 6-speed twin turbo… how much cash would you be putting on top of your car? ($20,000?)

Yeah man the RHD ones seem to better suit your budget, either way, similar car, steering wheel on the other side.
