A friend has a 2000 Jetta and the passengers side headlight melted down a while back. She had it replaced as well as a section of the harness.
It did it again to the new parts.
Anyone have any experience with these cars and know what the issue is? I think VW sells replacement pigtails so they are aware of the problem. I don’t have the time to diagnose and fix it.
