Fast is relative. I have devoured 996 turbos in lowly Boxsters and even in a 112 whp spec Miata.
Also, given equal drivers, 996 GT3 (a measly rwd, non-turbo, narrow body car) > 996 TT, all day.
Of course this is none of those - still a nice car that anyone can drive anywhere, get good fuel economy and enjoy stellar reliability.

Yes, it is. You might consider a 400 hp car fast. Since I drive a 400 hp car all the time, I don’t consider it fast at all.
You might think a car that runs a 3:10 at VIR is fast. I think a car that doesn’t run a sub 3:00 is slow.
