My father is selling his 02 Limited Edition Mazda Miata. He is moving on to big and better thing in my opinion.
The car is a 6spd manual with roughly 70k miles. The car is stock and has no modifications done to it. It comes with the premium wheels, bose sound system, leather seats, CD player, power windows, power locks.
The car is garaged in the winter and does not see the streets anytime in the winter.
Interior is a 8/10 if not nicer.
exterior is a 8/10
I will have a better write up for this but just getting the interest out there for now.
Saddle brown leather faced interior and door panel inserts
Two-tone, three spoke Nardi steering wheel with a Nardi leather shift knob and handbrake lever.
Torsen limited-slip differential
6-speed transmission
White gauge faces with aluminum accent rings + aluminum door handles
Chrome fuel lid and aluminum scuff plates and foot pedals
6-disk CD changer with speed-sensing audio volume control.
Also, Kevin if you can…find the SE number.

And it looks like the car has an aftermarket knob, looks like a spun Voodoo aluminum knob. I had one in my old Miata.
Always loved this car… Not gonna lie, would really like another miata but I have too many cars at the moment and would feel really bad molesting this thing.
Personally, this is my favorite body style. The car is clean, one minor spot on the back bumper from a shopping car. (asshole people) but has touch up paint on it. The rest of the car is incredible for the year and miles. The engine bay was a quick detail but with some degrease, the bay will look showroom quality. (wont take much at all)
As for the roof, looking it over I didn’t find any signs of wear or needing any sort of replacement or patching.
They’re definitely not fast in most folks’ eyes, including mine, but they do everything really well. Lot of fun to drive, great handling, great car to teach conservation of momentum.
They are not fast cars. They are definitely fun though. It’s like purchasing an FRS (to a degree) You arent buying the car because its powerful or can do a great 0-60, you are buying it for the excitement of a small, open vehicle that handles great.
I rode for 6 years on sport bikes and rode dirt bikes prior to that. When I decided to get out of motorcycles, I wanted something equally as fun and within a certain price range.
The Miata has completely satisfied all my requirements and has proven to be even more fun. My opinion, but if you go on the Miata forums it’s almost 90% guaranteed that the owners once were into bikes and made the switch.
