2003 f4i

sellin my 03 f4i with only 5,900 original miles on it. I bought from original owner. he laid it down once and parked it. Its got some cracks in the tail, a crack in the upper, and some light rash. But still a nice ass bike. Once registered it will come back with a clear title. I have the original title now that dude got when he bought the bike in 2003. Says 1 mile or something on it and Lein, however, I called the old lienholder and my local DMV and it shows no leins on bike. Its fully paid. If your worried I would call old leinholder in front of you and run the vin just to reassure anyone interested. So long story short you put this bike on the road you get a clean title!! I rode it the other day after I put new plugs in it. Runs perfect. I will entertain all reasonable offers.

im still confused with this…did you ever registered the motocycle? if you did why is the title still in the orginial buyer name? lol
why do you keep referring to a clean title? was it ever supposed to be a salvage title?
and for the leinholder…why cant you just have them write/send you a letter for the lein release? it only takes a sec for them to write one up or a few days for a lein release.

to many weird and vague area in the story hahah but looks like a nice bike i just picked up a 02 F4i GLWS

on craiglist it was listed for $4200 i believe.

did you ever register it in your name?

well thanks silverGT. I’ll break it down for ya.

I bought the bike in November off the original owner. I never registered the bike. When i got the title it was the original title from 2003. It says something like 1 mile on it. He lost his lein release form and I wanted to leave with a bike after all we had already struck a deal, I had a trailer and a wad of cash and a boner for a new streetbike. So I called the leinholder on the title and ran the vin to them over the phone. They told me the bike was fully paid. not that I didnt trust the guy I bought it from but I just wanted to make sure. After buying the bike I went to the DMV and had them check their records to make sure they also showed it as having No lien. Which their records showed it was paid as well. I wanted to get a lein release form just because, but the old leinholder said they would only mail it to a DMV of my choice if I had trouble registering it. Well, once I found out from DMV it was all good I didnt see a need for it. I was going to reggy it myself and it would come back with a clean title in my name but plans changed and im selling it instead. No there is no salvage or rebuilt status on this title. You reggy it, you get a clean title in your name.
