sad, really…
Very little was on display that I had any interest in.
Unlike most of you, I’m a big “hot hatch” fiend. While massive over in Europe, they’re just not available over here. The Chevy Aveo isn’t bad, but I’m not a big fan of four doors. Same goes for the Scion xA, but the xA’s interior is just too damn goofy. I hate center-mounted gauge clusters. The Focus is uglier than cheap Indian porn, The Civic Si is boring, and the VW GTi is too heavy and overpriced. Toyota makes a nice Echo hatch, but only for Canada…we get the queer coupe body instead. So…if I’m buying a new car anytime soon, it looks like it’s going to be the Aveo… I’m sure I can get some KDM Daewoo Kalos bumpers to de-uglify the thing a little…make it look a little less like a shrunken Chevy Venture. That, or a Hyundai Accent.
The Lotus Elise was the closest thing to perfection ever produced by a car company, period.
There were some other cars there, but I really didn’t give much of a shit. The new Rustang is quite nice. Not my thing, but definitely a good looking car. Other than the Cobalt SS, I don’t even remember any GM products standing out… I must’ve missed the GTO… probably because it looks exactly like every other fucking Pontiac… although Buick had an impressive looking sedan, the Lacrosse…all of the German cars were boring, and the Japanese cars keep getting more bloated and un-Japanese.
good thing I got in for free as an exhibitor for P&W BMW/Mini
That rsx looked good, but not 29,000 good. I liked the focus svt, and the R32 was nice. the sti was cool too. and that boni gxp with the northstar v8 is pretty cool. then the elise was nice and that RR was insane, that thing was huge and it was 341,000!! nothing really stuck out that much to me. but the set up of the convention center was nicer then it was last year.
everytime you talk all i hear is bitching or preaching. let me guess you’re catholic right.

AVEO u have to be joking. You went to the auto show and out of everything there you would buy that lump of shit??? I heard they recalled them already.
Elise??? again you must be joking cause right next to it (esprit) was a better looking car. The Elise is the ricer for the exotic crowd. There are about 100 cars i would say are closer to perfection than that thing.
cutty you forgot who you are talking about:rolleyes:
I felt like I was walking around a dealership where I couldn’t even test drive the cars… I liked the red lamborgini…I’d buy the STi first tho…
red lambo, did i miss that one??? sorry even if the whole top floor didn’t exist i wouldn’t have bought the STi. I would have taken the evo first.
the red lambo was on the outside edge out of the main room upstairs along with an orange one and all the Range Rovers and Rolls Royces…I can’t believe you missed that one…
As for the STi vs. the EVO…I’ve only driven the STi so I really don’t have much to compair with…I’ll drive an EVO in the summer and then make my final decision…
