granted, but it could support a cost higher than comparable models that havent had the same repairs/replacements.
just food for thought.

I see nothing wrong with the price… KBB is crap IMHO for certain cars, this being one of them
Thank you Frost. Pm me if you want a closer look/test drive. That’s what sealed it for me…
So, the Volvo is the first to go ey’?
Bump for a nice car, that does truly drive like new. If you decide you want an an 08 Sti, I’ll take it on trade.
Haha, funny Mike. If it weren’t for trying to get rid of some money tied up, I would take your STi…
Such a nice car GLWS man, and gratz on the engagement!
KBB (and similar documented values) determine whether or not a bank will front you the money for the car. So, it always plays a role in what a vehicle is “worth”.
An S60R with a 6spd isn’t that rare. One that is super clean with 140k on it, is however.
The lack of new parts also means that there are a lot of parts on it with 140k on them.
I’m not bashing, or being offensive, I just asked a simple question. Obviously if I thought KBB was spot on, I would have said that. Instead I questioned it and was looking for an educated response.
If I thought the price was more reasonable (see:cheaper), I would be much more interested. I have my eye on an '08 though, silver, no miles, babied.
Honestly - GLWS, these cars rock.
You will be really hard pressed to step into an S60 R for anywhere even close to my price. Mostly all of them are still selling for over $15K, even with 90K-100K on them. Yeah, there’s a few miles on this car, but the first 120K were all highway (travelling business man). I mean, there’s no way the car could be as nice as it is, if it was used in any other avenue. Plus, most of them for sale don’t come with an extra set of brand new wheels/snows.
Jack, you have PM.
As was I. I KBB’d it because I like those cars, always have, and wanted to know what the “system” thought their value was as I want to replace my 300M Special, or add onto my fleet.
Again, good luck with your sale.
Just put the car on a few Volvo forums…will likely try eBay by the w/e, depending on interest…
*** Found another car, this is now on eBay, and I’ve adjusted the price ***
Bump for a stand up guy. I bought my car off him a little over a year ago. It really was a diamond in the rough.
Joe takes immaculate care of his cars (and pretty much anything in general). He stopped by my place maybe 2 months ago and I swore this was a brand new car. I had no idea how much power these had until he had it going 0-60 and back to 0 in less time it took me to say “Holy Shit.”
Fast car from a good guy that will definitely give you your monies worth.
GLWS…
Good ebay ad. Joe, just so you know, you can use html code to insert your pictures so they’re big and clear, just like in your forum ad. When you edit the description, there is a tab that says “html”, click that, then insert this code after your text:
<img src=http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/91MR2_photos/2004%20Volvo%20S60%20R/002.jpg><br><br>

It will display all your pictures full size after the text.
Thanks Luke, appreciate the kind words.
Christian, I’ll check that out, thanks. Never sold a car on eBay before…
Guys, the car will be taken off the road this w/e, and will be buffed, polished, and fully detailed (engine and undercarriage too, as I have the lift) before going into my garage next to the Lotus until it’s sold.
So, basically if you want a test drive, get a hold of me in the next few days!
As it sits today, it has 137,245 on the ODO, I doubt I’ll put on more than another 50 or so…
Ugh you’re killing me Joe! This is exactly what I was looking to spend…
Throw it on ebay, I sold my RL on there. You dont pay unless you sell it on ebay.
This thing is a diesel?
Edit: Never mind. Joe, you have a typo in your ebay ad
No, it’s not, that’s an EBay error…
Spencer, it is on eBay.
Bump for one day left on ebay…
