2005 S4 Cabriolet

This is my first post here, so I figured I start with putting up some pics of my new(er) project. Wanted something with some power right out of the box, so i went with a B6 S4. So far have the K&N and Milltek Exhaust with AWE tune, and RS4 22mm rear sway bar. Have loved it so far, and this winter the following mods are being done:

Piggie Pipes
Snub Mount
Lightweight Pulley
Lowering of some kind

Nice car. I think i’ve seen you before. Do you live in North Greenbush off the Defreetsville exit in that apartment complex?

Nice ride… My officemate here also has an S4 (2004) but it’s the sedan. Complicated car it seems.

I assume you did the rear sway to help cure under steer. How much power did you pick up with the intake/exhaust/tune?

Real nice car! I love the B6 S4’s…not so much the cabriolet’s but still a nice ride.

Welcome!

He didn’t do the mods yet

Nice s4, welcome to shift

You sure?

I thought I read "So far have the K&N and Milltek Exhaust with AWE tune, and RS4 22mm rear sway bar. "

:ponder

Nice car man! Gotta get those nasty longtube headers for it:

those are not cheap but sound tits on that 4.8l

i take it u mean 4.2L.

thanks guys, i actually bought the car last feb. so it def was not in schenectady. as far as gains go, i figure im between 380-400 at the crank with what ive got on there so far.

yea nice catch… sorry was i knew the engine size but was thinking of the porsche v8… to much on the mind :retardclap

skip the pullies, keep saving for JH Motorsport longtubes.

i’m going to have the front bumper/ radiator off for the snub mount and to change the belt so I might as well do the pulley now

waste of money. stick to your stock pullies. and by “belt” i hope you are refering to the timing belt.

well its going on anyway. and the jhm longtubes require pulling the engine, which is not in my plans just yet

and the 4.2 doesnt have a timing belt, it has a timing chain

oak hill apartments, right? i know that place looks familiar. nice car.

they changed the layout since the old 4.2 found in the A6/A8 which was a TBelt.

dont be scared of pulling the engine. cake walk!
