forgot your username

today at londonderry I saw a 2004+ silver spec v w/ body kit and dual exhaust.

I’m pretty sure it was spec_v and mrs_spec_v. looking good

haha that was u… LOL i was just telling my gf that that was another spec v, and then u waved and i was like LOL so i waved back.( that was the gf’s 06 spec btw)

i saw u on the yellowhead before, you waved at me and her in her car before. i didnt seen any necc decals but yah, that was me. first time ive got a wave from someone on here. nice to see u too.

loving the tinted windows on the front too, looks really good on any car, so i did it to mine too.

haha ya, I’m a dork and wave at every other spec. Most people wave back, but I’ve had a few that look at me like I’m nuts!

haha i wave back…

anywho, saw another silver spec v today in the west end at 178st and around west ed mall.
had stock rims on in the winter(hope theres winter tires on there) and all tinted windows w/ SER badge on front grill

also was at west end nissan today, and saw them workin on a black skyline w/ winter steelies and a RB20 under the hood… anyone on here.

Theres a blue GTS-t by my house with a smashed rear end. Trunk and rear quarter are toast. Anyone know the story? Must be a pricey fix.

putting my money on write-off…

thats why u dont drive a skyline in the winter, espically a RWD, but im assuming he got bumper humped.

Did an oil change on a Black 180SX with Black Rims

Saw silver SPec V this morning at Best Buy (8:30ish). Had N-E-C-C stickers… I waved but I don’t think they saw me…

what is wrong with rwd in the winter ?

what is wrong with rwd in the winter ?[/quote]

There is nothing wrong as long as there is a good driver behind the wheel and decent tires.

Probably a lot easier for you, since you know how it reacts. I laugh at everyone who thinks they NEED 4x4 or AWD for winter and ABS…

AWD isn’t a necessity in winter, but it’s sure nice to have the option. Not many non-subarus are as fast off the line as a Murano in sport mode with the AWD-Lock engaged.

I don’t mind having FWD in the winter, and I haven’t been able to get the SE-R stuck on anything yet with the winter tires, but at least with RWD cars you have the ability to control both ends of the car if you know what you’re doing. When you just have the FWD, you can only point the front end of the car and hope the rear end does what you want it to.

Heh, with my octagon rear wheels, it handles like a RWD but you cant use any of there tricks to keep you outta trouble. Life lesson learned, FWD can drift but they look like ass when they do. And everyone laughs at you… and calls you names…

Just because you can accelerate fast does not let you stop any faster.

hehe. That was me. I saw you but missed your wave. Was looking to see when you guys opened and musta been concentrating too hard or half asleep still.
