2007 350z Pics.

I agree completely, but what we want isn’t what the manufacturers want. The aftermarket industry gives them a headache. I’m not saying they want it to disappear, but they want to make it harder and harder for people to modify the drivetrain and then try and pull the wool over their eyes.

I agree that in a perfect world, everyone would work together and the b.s. would stop. But you and I both know, that ain’t gonna happen.

And your analogy isn’t correct, because I never said the manufacturers’ threatened to stop making cars. A proper analogy would be where Microsoft would try to make it harder and harder to pirate their software (via way of improved disc encryption, system registration, whatever), which they are in fact always doing (them and every other software maker).

i guess it wasn’t that good of an analogy to begin with, since one deals with piracy and another deals with aftermarket, and I accidentally equated one with the other.

My point still stands as even high end cars have their tuners and aftermarket parts, Brabus, Dinan, Ruf, etc all can be considered aftermarket, and i’m sure Mercedes, BMW and Porsche have no problems with them what so ever.

I agree that the aftermarket industry uses varying degrees of engineering “standards” to make a buck, and it’s upto us consumers to be aware and tell those apart.

But you and I both know that the aftermarket industry isn’t going to go away either :stuck_out_tongue:

And thank god for that! I’m going to need to make a few phone calls to Jim Wolf after I score myself a used Z32 twin turbo (gimme a few years)

That’s actually a pretty cool concept. It’ll suit the bulge a lot better. However, I see one problem, it can’t be reverse vent since the plenum might be in the way (that’s the reason they created the bulge!).

is it just me, or does every part on the car seems lower???(other then the hump on the hood ofcuz…)
the frt bumper looks wierd, w/ the extension under the grill…

but still love it!!!

Not to sure, but they did change up the body lines. IMO.

Edit: at first I hated the hood, but its kinda grown on me.

meh… nothing wrong with it id drive it

i think if they didnt round off that hump and continued the lines down…it might look a bit better then that

the hood is an acquired taste. i liked it right when i first saw it!

esp the rear bumper with the diffuser! (nismo 350z 07)

What rear diffuser? Rear bumper’s unchanged as far as I know…

err… my bad… i’m talking about the new nismo 350z…

“ver 2” i believe ?

nope. The one with rear diffuser is the Nismo 380RS. Google it up.

380RS is actually the street version. There’s a track version called “380RS Competition” or something like that.

err… are you sure?

i think that the hood looks sick (especially, considering that i have an 07 Z) lol
but the hood has a hump to serve a perpose. if you take a close look at the HR motor you will notice that their is a big front upper strut bar. either than that the rims are nicer headlights are MUCH nicer the tails are nicer and in my oppinion the fron bumper is nicer along with the hood.

i like th eorange better. but over all …z is a sexy car.
