The Altima Coupe will be staring down the Honda Accord Coupe and Toyota Solara Coupe in the marketplace, as well as perhaps the Pontiac G6 Coupe and Chevy Monte Carlo. It will be armed with either a 170-hp, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or the yummy 3.5-liter VQ V6 rated at 270 horsepower and 258 ft-lbs. of torque, both available with either an Xtronic CVT or 6-speed manual.
I actually like this car…looks nice…and the 3.5-liter VQ V6 engine with 270hp…can be very useful

hmmm for a brand new Altima coupe, you could get a 350Z used. tempting…
this style is def growing on me, maybe once i see it on the road. can’t wait till i see my droped with a nice kit and some lovely rims
The new Altima coupe has an engine start button…also its gonna have a navigation system with real time traffic (all BOSE) + Rearview monitor display and
a Bluetooth hands-free phone system…awsome features from the best auto maker = NISSAN!!!

i like it also… but its a FWD version of the g35

not feeling the car…the looks, or the fact that it’s fwd…high hp fwd makes for poor handling imo.
i agree about the bad FWD feature ,but i think that the cars still looks good and will have it’s own success …i think that Nissan will reproduce this car after 2008 with a RWD version…
I think it’s because this set of pictures are a bit more flattering than the one’s that you showed…
Looks alright, but I still don’t like how the 350/g35/altima all look too similar…

but has nissan ever switched drivetrain mid model? I thought they generally stay in the configuration they start off as…
i got the feelin’ that they will on this car…because that has a major issue with the FWD…
looks like a good car. I don’t think it will ever be a rear wheel drive car. In terms of cost it has to compete with the accord. RWD will price it right out of that market.
but I’d get one as a daily drive.
