Hey guys I thought this was pretty cool, its the new 2007 Altima coupe coming out this summer.
I’m not sure how many people have heard about it, personally i think it looks pretty sweet.
It’s sorta like an alternative to the G35 and looks a lot like it
and will come with a VQ35 producing around 270hp.

I read about it. Looks pretty cool, but they definitely stated several times that it’ll be FWD. Too bad they dropped the ball again, it could’ve been a really nice car. Then again if they did make it RWD or AWD, they’d be taking a bite out of 350Z and G35c sales, because this is a very sexy Altima.
Any word on an se-R version or possibly a 2.5 in it like they have in altimas now?
There will be a 2.5 as well, but it didn’t say anything about an SE-R.

I guess it’s similar, but then again, the G6 coupe is a blatant ripoff of the Camry Solara anyway. There’s only so many ways a FWD family sedan gone coupe can look anyway.

Yeah, I don’t think that thing would ever put a dent in the sales of the Z or GC, just a hunch, but the people buying those cars wouldn’t be inclned to save a few bucks and buy one of those trend following cookie cutters.

^^ i agree, but the point was made if it was RWD. If it was RWD it wouldn’t be a cookie cutter anymore.
How many other companies are producing 270hp RWD cars for $29,000 (base 3.5 price in Canada)? Decent looking ones at that.
I’d bet on FF. If you haven’t noticed Infinity is the brand they have choosen to carry their FR cars to market, if not FR then AWD
It actually says it’s FF, I gotta find the article for you guys. They said some BS about them making it the nicest handling FF coupe, but I’m not holding my breath.
