It was a Wednesday morning, roughly 10 AM, and on my way to Futako Tamagawa station. Waiting at the station were some good friends. Dino D, Miguel Varella Cid and Newera employee Dai. Dino being the man of the month had just been handed the keys of two very fine automobiles. One a 2008 Nissan GTR and the second, a 2008 Lexus IS-F Fuji Speedway Edition.
From Futako Tamagawa we headed into Kawasaki where we jumped on the Tomei expressway. Right from the highway onramp I was utterly shocked by the pure, yet raw power the 3.8 put out. Not a hint of boost lag nor even a whisper of recirculation from the factory valves.
Tough to put the feeling on paper here, so below is a short launch of what I’m on about.

Just raw power and shifted like a machine gun.
Random photos of the new GTR.
The IS-F has been out is the US for nearly a year now…I believe. This model is a low production Fuji Speedway Edition. Interior loaded with high quality stitched embroideries of an F and more F graphics through out the exterior.
Really fine lines on this machine and the ring of that 4 cam V8 is one to remember. Short video here in its glory.

Some random photos of the IS-F
While up at the turn pike all four of us were greeted by Rosso magazine staff. They had an all new Aston Martin DBS. Couple images of this mad house brit machine.
And a few more random photos from my outing.
