I’d love to but all my vacation time is spent for next year already… Maybe 2010 but then there might be a US Grand Prix again! :smiley:

US Grand Prix is a big meh.

I might goto Montreal but dmoffitt and I are talking about hitting Singapore next year. Don’t have a HUGE desire to goto a North American race.

Yea, We’ll figure all that out… Torq and wife I’m sure are going to want their own room, But I have no problem stuffing 10 people into hotel room and sleeping on the floor.

North America no longer on Circuit.

LONDON – The Canadian Grand Prix has been dropped from the 2009 Formula One calendar with the season remaining at 18 races, the sport’s governing body said on Tuesday.

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) issued a revised calendar with the race in Turkey moving from August to June to allow a summer break for the teams. There will be no North American round after the U.S. Grand Prix at Indianapolis was dropped this year.

Maybe Canada will actually open the damn circuit up to more than two damn race weekends a year now. Stupid hippies and their “park”.

The bigger news IMO is the dropping of the engine freeze (sort of) for 2009. They are allowing teams to “equalize” performance up to the development McLaren, Ferrari, and BMW have done on their engine’s for “reliability” (concord loophole) and then be back in accordance with the 2010 regulations.
