i think he means where u pay and can drive an Indy/Formula style car for fun one day…Nelson Ledges in OH might the Glen might too…Jeremy might no more…check out Skip Barber as well

no i mean like watch it in the crowd type deal.

doesn’t toronto close down their streets every summer for a big race? i’m not sure so don’t quote me.

toronto, Indianapolis. i kno its not the same, but theres a Champ Car race in Cleveland every year, and it was a coupple weeks ago, and my friend went and he said it was mad cheap to go and was a really good time. makes for a really good day trip. i think they have some kind of a Corvette LeMans type sereies race the night before, so it would be like a drive down saturday afternoon, go to the race saturday night, get a hotel for a night, go to the champ car race sunday, drive home sunday night. if you could get a coupple friends to split a hotel with u, i bet u could get away with it costing u less than $200 for the whole thing including gas. i plan on doing it next year for sure

Ummmm they just had a race at The Glen.:lolham: It doesn’t get much closer than that except maybe Toronto.

Indy is the closest actual F1 race or Montreal.

Ummm… http://www.nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12496

yea goto toronto this weekend…INDY TORONTO…i am going saturday

…the only place to see an F1 race in America is the USGP…and canada is the Montreal race

Both are over.

Grand Prix of Toronto is not F1

???

Did you even look at the video he linked?

i know this…but i am sure he would enjoy Indy too

I’m sure he would, prolly more b/c of the ammount of leet honda motors…but Indy cars are not F1 cars

just suggestions Joesph

You can see Vintage F1 cars @ Watkins Glen every year, they still cut mid 1:30 lap times for the full course, which is screaming fast. After the past two USGP’s at Indy, I hope they go somewhere else, like Road Atlanta. I wish they could come back to Watkins Glen, but that’s impossible and will NEVER happen.

yea its too close to Buffalo for anything cool

If he doesn’t know where the F1 races are yet then he probably wouldn’t know the difference between F1 and any other type of open wheel race.:stuck_out_tongue:
So yeah, there is a great F1 race at The Glen every year!!!

 good point
