Paddock Chevrolet delivered it’s first 2010 Camaro (IOM) this week. On the ride home, the new owner saw a bird fly in front of him. He thought that he hit it and it caused some damage to the front end
He checked it out and nothing noticible. He got home and still heard some noises in the front end. Went to look and…
They weren’t able to get access to free the bird, so they left it in there for a bit and the bird ended up freeing itself.
And isn’t it ironic that the bird matches the Camaro?
Working for Lexus this woman drove in to the service drive with a falcon sticking out of her grill - the bird had been flying really low and just its head got stuck, the wings and claws were going crazy trying to free itself. Bird was huge. Had to cut open the grill to get it out safely.
I used to drive a 1st gen white neon and birds would always divebomb the car. I have no idea why. I never hit one though.
I clipped a bird with my pass side mirror in the suby though. And then there are always stories about the scoop grabbing random birds. Never happened to me though.
