2011 GT500 STOCK with wheels/slicks 11.16@124

Fucillo told him to fuck off because he had nitto nt555’s on it that it was voiding the warranty. Puked tranny with 300 miles? Id be super pissed.

Well I woulda swapped the tires before bringing it in, but still, that’s ridiculous.

Got me, some of the 2010/2011 have 1-2 shift issues but not blown tranny problems. 555 or 555R? I still can’t see how he only ran a 12.5 but then again over the years I have seen some fast cars run crap times, sounds like his car needs a driver mod. I know 2 different cars that ran 9s at 140 plus with stock tranny AND clutch at the track.

9.6@146 stock motor and stock trans with a 4.0 whipple, saw this car in person and have a lot of pics of it, he is building a grabber blue CJ clone now from a body in white this car is sold…

9.8@140 stock motor stock trans as well, TVS blower on this car. This car is sold and was replaced with the red/black 2010 I posted above.

BTW, how many cars do you know that can click off 9’s at 140+ with stock motor, stock trans, and stock clutch??

This is another one of my friend’s cars. He normally runs at the track ONLY though…but I bet he would love a race at the track.

Sure, it is nothing special, just a low budget LX but should go ok. I had a more extreme combo before but it’s toned down for better street duty now.

There is less than 1 inch difference.

The motors forged stock, what do you expect. Of course you can throw all sorts of boost at it. My friends stock 6.1 srt motor with same compression and all on stock heads, mild cam, stock rear, exhaust with a kenne bell 2.8 went 9.71@143

The gt500 is a cool car. Is MUCH rather have a early 2000’s cobra. The cars have a huge advantage from the factory being forged, racing exhaust etc.

The crap times could also be atributed due to the dog days of summer. Still, even on the highway he gets pulled by me.

His 1/2/3 gear i think blew up and all syncros shit the Bed.

No clue, I know Ted’s 2010 trapped 118 -119 totally stock, then 122 with slicks. If you are not in the right gear or know how to drive it can make a world of difference. I know from experience there can be a 2-3 mph or MORE difference between drivers with a manual trans.

dude that black and blue car above is tits. i would love to unload my cobra and move up to an 11 gt500!!

With his '07 and '10 parked next to each other it’s amazing the changes they made. I liked the '07 but the 10/11 are just all around nicer cars. The interior is killer and the exterior looks bad ass. I love the front on the 10/11 GT500. He had a '04 Cobra before too, I like those a lot as well but the GT500 is even nicer IMHO. A lot of people disagree but having drove both I’d take a GT500 any day. He is selling his modded '07 for $33k b/o btw. 8,050 miles on it red/silver ran mid 11’s and trapped as high as 129 on stock 18" wheels. With a drag wheel/tire setup it would run high 10’s easy. Has a pile of nice parts on it including FR3 handling package and stuff.

I LOL @ Ford products

but I secretly like the new Mustangs.

Exhaustr anmd flames look hot bro^Y^^^^^^^^^^^^

Relax, it was 70% sarcasm.

ok, Death, they stopped making cobras in 2004…i think you mean 2010 gt500. and the stock trannies are pretty stout. his tranny puking was a fluke OR he was doing something very wrong OR his clutch was not adjusted correctly, AND i dont believe lethal rebuild trannies…never head of them doing that, but i could be wrong. Probably rebuilt by D&D Perf.

A mustang is actually a horse

fap fap fap fap.

This still impresses me. My car still runs 13s… :frowning:

ty.

But what about the 2011 cobra brahhhhh??? :lol

'11 gt500’s are bad rides, love em
