I picked up a 2011 WRX Limited 5 door last night in Syracuse. I’ve been saving up since January, sold my Miata and finally found the exact car I wanted and picked it up last night. It arrived off the truck last night and I had them rush everything together so I could get it before the weekend.
The car had 8 miles on it and honestly looked better in person than any picture I’ve seen. I’m loving it so far. It pulls well to 4k and I can say more on that in 800 miles when I finish the break-in period. This weekend mudflaps go on and next week I order an intake and AccessPort. Very happy to be in such an awesome DD.
Planning to do Accessport Torqued Performance stage 1 and a Cobb sri when I finish the break in period, then TP stage 2 and a turboback exhaust in the spring. When I go stage 2+ (EBCS/TMIC/etc. Not decided if I’ll bother with more fuel and a 20g or I’ll leave it at 2+ and be happy) you guys will be my first stop.
Great, just keep in mind that not being taliored to one specific car makes the stock Cobb maps fairly mediocre, and we would always suggest a custom tune. GL with it.
Yeah that’s why I’m getting the stage 1/2 map pack from Eric (Torqued Performance) … He’s well known for top notch 3g WRX maps and he’ll tweak the maps for free after purchase. I’m not bothering with the Cobb maps at all. Once I mod out of the range of the stage 2 I’ll bring it down to Innovative for my tuning needs.
DGM is dark gray metallic, my favorite color besides WRB, and less noticeable. Plus WRB cars are everywhere, and I wanted something a little different.
Limited gets leather and the factory HIDs. I was looking for a premium, everything else the same, but I couldn’t find one closer than new hampshire or maryland, so I said screw it and when I saw that Romano had a limited coming in I jumped on it and put a deposit down 2 weeks before it showed up so I’d be sure I could get one. Sold the Miata at the beginning of last week so it’s been rough without a car.

And no, there is no random line through the middle of the hood, that’s the reflection from the CB antenna lol
