Started about a Month ago searching for a new/used car. I sold the Legacy GT last Wednesday and the next day came across a nice WRX I figured I couldn’t pass up.
On Saturday I had took the drive to White Plains, NY to pick up an 06 Subaru WRX Limited Hatchback. It was a long drive there and back with about 13 hours spent in a car. The results were what seem to be well worth it.
Most services have been done on the car with receipts to show. Little dings and scuffs but nothing major, no rust and extremely clean interior.
This is about all the service that was done on the car before purchasing with a few additions he went over while I was there. It has 106k miles now. (services were done around 96k miles)

He was extremely helpful, extremely informative on everything and still continues to be till this day as he has filled me in on keeping up with services and any little in and outs he can think of. Man was nice enough to let me use his plates to get the car home as the DMV was closed out there on the weekends.
Very trusting person to let me drive that far with his plates. I did at least throw my insurance on the vehicle before traveling there. Turning in his plates today and registering it. Pretty excited to drive this even though the S is out for the summer.
Shhhhhh. haha I can’t be throwing all this money at it right now. However, I have already started looking at prices for exhausts. haha
Multiple reasons to be honest. I put about $4k worth of work into the Legacy and was probably going to need to put a lot more. Previous owner did not take care of the car as well as I would have liked it to be. This WRX has everything needing to be done already done besides 3 main things. Turbo, wheel bearings and struts. The WRX is in incredible shape all around with no rust while the other was just about to start rotting out. The struts are still in great shape surprisingly with the miles but eventually I may just throw an upgrade in there. The turbo pulls smooth but a boost gauges will be added shortly to keep notice incase it fails. All in all, I’m extremely happy with this car so far.
I need to get a High Res version but got the 2 together semi clean last night and decided to take a few photos. I posted one to fb and saved it to photobucket.
