Went for a 12 hour stroll, came back with a scoop full of happiness.

lol So I have no luck with cars aside from the S2000.

So I did the oil change for the first time yesterday and noticed a grease spray on the driver side. Turns out the boot for the CV shaft ruptured and sprayed. Looks like a new boot/CV shaft going in. May just do the wheel bearing while in the process.

Side note: I really need to get a compressor and impact gun with sockets. Life would be so much easier working on cars. lol

check for the control arms rusting out. Happened on both sides of my buddies wrx. Covered under a recall.

How great it would be to get a deal on doing the CV shaft if they had to replace the control arms. haha. I know I need to take that too them to get the recall looked at thought, it wasn’t done by the previous owner.

Thanks for the heads up.

Its not a guarantee repair. They have to be able to make a hole with a punch and hammer for it to be warrantied.

Right, it was that or they spray it with a rustproofing agent to help prevent it.
