2012 Buffalo Motorama - March 23-25, 2012 WNY's Largest Indoor Car Show

You pay them. My friend used to work for Robert Yates racing. He drove show cars and race cars all over the country. He would drop off an actual race car at a track the week before a race and then take the race car that raced the week before to a shopping mall for a few days, etc. He’d bounce all over the country like that. Sometimes he’d have a 100% genuine race car, other times it was a prettied up show-race car with a year old engine in it. Most NEXTEL cup teams have 30-40 cars. He’d show up at people’s birthday parties for their kids, county fairs, malls, you name it. If any of you guys from NT ever remember seeing the #88 Dale Jarrett trailer around, that was my friend Chuck.

We got a walk-through of the build of the Ring Bros. “Producer” Mustang thanks to Mike and Joey. A LOT of subtle, custom touches. They went the “right” route on a lot of the fabrication where there was an “easy” route.

anyone with pictures?

Here is a link to the galleries. Lots more coming

This is what was so great about the show, the builders were RIGHT THERE in front of the cars to talk to. There’s so much going on with these builds that it often takes 2 or 3 times to catch, while there are a handful of others mods made that you’d never know about until the builder told you.

The ‘Producer 65+4 Mustang’ has been one of the most impressive builds I’ve ever seen…and to have Mike and Jim Ring walk me through all the nuances was fantastic. That alone would have been worth the $12 admission price (I got in free as a vendor…). Being there all weekend my only regret was not being able to meet more of the builders.

You got in free because you did all the kick ass graphic design for the show. Oh yea and the Ring Brothers chaufer

Looked like you guys did a good job with the show, could there be improvements, of coarse. But for a second year show, the cars they are bringing in is a accomplishment. Hopefully you guys are getting enough revenue to keep this going. Your not going to make a perfect show in two years, so I can see why there are negative comments at times, but after two short years (18 months) looks like your crew is on the right track!
What I like to see in the future, classic Lowriders, higher end imports or even more classic imports, there are enough of them in this area. Good luck, with future show!

Wish i didnt go to the cavelcade of cars and instead went to this…looks amazing with a ton of high caliber cars!

GREAT JOB JOE!! will def be in for next year…as well as being down to help set up a nyspeed room!

Who took these photos?

was a good show. i only walked about 10ft into the ice room, but thats because its not my taste. however i can appreciate what other people like and i think it was a good idea for them to have their space. my favorite car in the entire show was the maroon/brown chevy 2. that car was gorgeous. very impressive. i look forward to seeing this show grow. its not the biggest show in the area, but its a good refresher for the colder months and it brings a caliber of cars here that you typically only see in magazies or out of state shows which is very cool.

joe, i want to get my ford in the show next year in the upstairs room. it will be a roller with everything fabbed and almost ready to strip down for bodywork/paint by then. let me know when you will be starting registrations for next year.

I gave plenty of notice!!!

Multiple photographers. Still more coming in

I should have the form up in a few weeks once I recover from this one. I’m still not all right  Was a long weekend.
