Awesome, I’ll try and make the 15th to spectate and take some photos.

I’m stoked. Count me in! Bought a new set of DMACK rally tires too.

The DMACK’s are the shit Mike. You’re going to love them!

I’ve got to call Miguell and get him to register the car for one of the dates if not more. He wanted me to come and run my old subaru at one event with him(my old H6 powered white beast)

raises hand i have a question!

ya gotta own a awd car to do this?

or could i in theory show up with a lifted K5 blazer and run it?

There are FWD, RWD, and AWD classes ranging from stock to full mod. Look at the SCCA rules for rally cross to see classifications on your vehicle. some of the BEST rally cross racing has been in shitbox FWD econoboxes that people have pulled out of yards and made to run/comply with rules/regs.

you have no idea how much fun this is. I built my last subaru specifically for this series and unfortunately had to sell it after only a couple events. Worst car related thing I’ve had to do yet.

I cannot speak as to whether your K5 will be allowed to run. certain trucks are, but safety is a high priority here.

i dont have a K5, i was just asking a hypothetical question with a hypothetical vehicle.

where can i find the SCCA rules? just google it?

Man, I’d love to take the Allroad into one of these, but it would probably break into tiny pieces after the first stage, lol!

im in ! i just registerd.

You do not need a AWD car. There are classes for Front, Rear, and All wheel drive.

No lifted trucks or other high center of gravity vehicles allowed.

Mark

stock height trucks OK? 4WD count as AWD even if it’s off?

Why’s it matter when your trucks 2wd and you’re not going anyways?

I’me just wondering. I’m allowed to do that, you know

No, you’re wasting the man’s time you idiot.

Stock height trucks are usually OK. You could run the 2WD class if you locked it onto that mode.

cant wait whos coming from here ?
