Yes, getting there with wife/son around noon and staying overnight at the Casino hotel. Booked a room long time ago when the dates were finalized and before rates got jacked, got it for 130 vs 400…lol.

is there a trail from the valley the Gulf gas station (old yellow goose)? havent been down past there in a while and was just curious

You have to go out the back of the Valley, hang a left and follow the road out from “knox’s boxes” back to 16 and ride the shoulder/yards up to the gas station.

Also, I went to Mash on my lunch break to get an x-ray done of the damage from my accident last night and I have a pretty gnarly hip contusion, but no fractures. The girl who did my X-rays was pretty cute too.

thanks for the tip!

leaving from clinton/2 rod around 630 tonight and heading the the valley and then probably up to the cabin/brauns or maybe to colden, not sure yet

@JayS I had the steak sandwich at the Lakes last night. It was amazing!

Rookie.

It’s worth the ride from Clarence.

Went out around Niagara County wed night for 3.5 hours.
There was a nice stretch between some power lines with tons of moguls which I actually enjoyed. Also hit some trails freshly groomed on the way out. By the time we were heading back though, the corners were pretty icy. Getting some studs installed is high on the list.
Switched with my buddy for a bit and rode his IQR. I couldn’t believe how effortlessly the thing would hang its skis. It was a hell of a sled.
Hoping to go out at least locally this weekend again. Launch right near the Office if there is anyone else local to the area.

Took my son (7) out for his first ride. A little chilly but ya just gotta give him a push…and he liked it. Buddy brought his two. Family night. Short run from Eden VFW to Schunks, bite o chow with the wives, and back.

Trails are much better as soon as you cross transit I’ve been doing an 80 mile loop starting in Pendleton and heading out through the Alabama Swamps to the Log Cabin and coming back through Akron and Clarence. It’s definitely a good ride for staying local.

What color IQR was your buddy on? You don’t see too many of them out.

Leaving in 30 for a pretty ambitious ride. Clarence Center East through Darien, straight south through Perry and down through Letchworth.

Have fun! That sounds like a cool ride.

Yesterday, Shockwave and I dropped at the Bloomfield gun club and went south on C4 towards Naples then further south to Wayland. 118 miles down and back.

The FingerLakes trails were a little thin but not too bad (they were worse on our way back).

Harriet Hollister park was partially closed on our way south because of a cross country race but it was open on our way back.

Naples has some nice steep and windy trails.

Into Wayland is a long, flat rail bed

Steve’s back there somewhere.

Last year I broke down before I could get to this part of the park, so I was happy to finally get a picture here!

Honeoye/Naples were really nice. I think we’re going to do this route again today except drop at the farm in Honeoye.

Oh and Steve had some guy rip by him on the Bloomfield rail bed then eat shit at that one big poorly marked “caution” dip.

Yeah I was cruising down the rail bed section on the FLSC trails going 65-70 and some guy rips past on an RX-1 going 85-90 with a yellow Rev right on his ass. I look behind for a split second and the 2-3 women they are riding with are behind me. Right after I turned back around I saw the guy on the Yamaha hit the dip hard but managed to stay on and then the guy on the Rev hit the dip followed by a huge cloud of snow dust and a riderless Rev just cruising down the trail. He fell off to the left luckily so I didn’t run him over and he did some sort of somersault ordeal. I stopped with everyone else to make sure the guy was alright. Seemed ok but shaken up.

We ended up at the gas station in Bloomfield shortly after and the guy on the RX-1 pulled up. Apparently the two guys are family but weren’t out riding with each other. They met up somehow by chance on the trails and I guess it’s been a family argument over who’s a better rider. The older guy that fell off the Rev was the Uncle of the guy on the RX-1.

Started in Clarence Hollow and went east to Pembroke, south through Perry and checked out all of Letchworth. Down to Portageville for gas then home. 173 miles of just awesome riding. Will add pics tomorrow .

Was going to ride this weekend but I twisted my “robo knee” Friday night getting up from underneath the trailer and it popped. Thought it was just a minor pinch, like it has been in the past, but the last two days have proven otherwise. Hope to see my knee surgeon this week and pray he doesn’t tell me my season is over. Took a ride to Franklinville with my buddy (in his truck) to his hunting cabin to check on things, and saw a lot of sleds out. Trails looked like they were in good shape and snowed all the way there and back.

Spent the night at Seneca Allegany Casino for the ISOC snocross races, had a great time. Tucker killing it like usual finished first, led over 20 of the 28 lap race. Talked with him after the races such a down to earth classy guy.

Back to riding now, close to 1,000 miles for this season…would have passed it this weekend if it was not for the races.

They need to have those races every weekend. 173 miles today and didn’t run into one Blair Morgan wannabe ripping around a corner in the wrong lane and saw zero shit head piles (where some retard takes off with zero throttle control).

LOL, yes you could pick them out in the crowd and they seemed to flock together.

The look on my son’s face when they launched from the hole shot line was priceless. I definitely plan on going again, good time for sure.

Jay, that trip down through Perry & Letchworth sounds like a nice ride.

Today we dropped at the farm in Honeoye and rode around Honeoye / Canadice / Springwater. Only did 75 miles but had a ton of fun on the local trails. Today was my brother’s first time ever riding and he did great.

We found a new route to Wayland west of C4. It would make for a nice, fast loop down there. I might try and hit that sometime soon before the trails go away.

On our way back up we went over the Honeoye Lake. so much snow that my little F6 couldn’t break 75. GPS clocked north to south flat out at 5 minutes. Then, south back north on the lake took 4:30. A high HP sled would be so sweet out there.

Can’t wait to get back out. This season has been great so far.
