2013/2014 Snowmobile Season

Rode Old Forge all weekend at Snow Fest. Ran the demos all weekend. 2nd to last demo ride of the day, some guy smoked a tree with my demo XF8000.

I regret not going up to snow fest. I want to ride a new procross.

They are nice riding sleds. You would have really been able to put it through its paces this weekend.

COWLESVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 30-year-old Wyoming County man was killed overnight in a snowmobile accident in the Town of Bennington.
Deputies say at an unknown time, Jeffery Kirsch of Cowlesville went off the side of Folsomdale Road on his snowmobile and struck a road sign. A snow plow driver discovered his body on the side of the road Thursday morning.
Investigators are still working to learn what caused the accident.

^ The trail crosses Folsomdale Rd in 2 places but doesn’t ride along it. Must have been out ripping around on the roads last night.

Riding too fast on the rd= all sorts of uncontrollable sketchiness

I was disappointed Amherst did such a good job on the side streets yesterday. I was hoping the storm would be bad enough to make a few runs around my neighborhood if there was enough snow to stop say a RWD Crown Vic from travelling on it.

Trails are not too pretty around Alden/marilla, most likely closing tomorrow. I hit over 1400 for the season and will call that a successful season. Crossing fingers for next year…

Another example or why not to ride alone.

77 miles tonight around Webster. LOTS of powder out here around Rochester. Had a good ride tonight. Even with one of the dudes in our riding group sliding off the side off the trail onto his side into a 4’ muck ditch. Glad we carry tow straps!

130 miles up at Tug today. They have SO MUCH SNOW. Apparently everyone has put their sleds away for the season because there wasn’t much traffic so the trails were really good.

Somewhere I have a pic with a stop sign next to my ski. They get some crazy shit up there. Next season for sure. Glad you had a good ride.
