I heard the big thing is that next year will be the last year of the “prototypes”, and then following years everyone will probably be running the same ECU which people are claiming is so lesser competitors like Ducati have a chance at the podium.
People are basically saying that MM has 1 year on a prototype, and then it’s all downhill for the entire MotoGP from then on. Lets hope that is not the case!
Marquez’s skill backing that Moto2 bike into every corner is just nuts! Watching him, I probably look like this = :excited … but you are right, I don’t think his aggressive riding on the 600cc will pan over too well on the 1000cc GP bike.
However, MM is a very strong finisher, I don’t really recall ever seeing him fall off the pace due to tire wear, instead, he usually can pick up the pace compared to everyone else at the end. Doubt he’s got the magic touch to somehow save tires while nobody else can, but, I’d love to see him on the podium. Been a fan of MM for YEARS and now will be rooting for both Rossi & Marquez next year. Next year should be fun!
On a side note, I hope to see Bradl’s bike improve so he can get into fights with the top dogs. Seeing Bradl and Marquez battling it out again should be a fun watch. With Bradl’s (now) experience on his Honda GP bike, he may even have an edge over Marquez .
