I was at the cleveland home & garden show yesterday and it was insane. There were easily 500+ vendors and the expo center has a friggin full size Ferris wheel. Makes the Buffalo show look like a flea market.
Thanks to Choko for stopping by yesterday. Also to Jeller for dropping in to shoot the breeze. I was pleased with the volume of people that showed up and I felt like I made some decent contacts and spoke with some serious people. Was a long day but seemed to go by pretty quick. Hoping Sunday will be as busy, even with the shorter show hours.

So busy that I didn’t even go in, lol. Hope today was good for you guys, I haven’t seen that many people at the fairgrounds since the fair :tup:

Post Show Summary:
All in all I think the show was a worthwhile endeavor. The turn in the weather surely kicked the crowd in the ass and made up for the wasted first two days. Had good meetings and conversations with a number of people. Also got a chance to see what worked for me and what didn’t, as well as what worked for others. It was interesting to be on the exhibitor side of the table as a former trade / exhibit show engineer and fabricator. Always got to produce and set up but never stay for the actual shows. I have some really slick ideas if I decide to come back next season. Also got to meet some other vendors with interesting and exciting products. Gave me some new ideas for new products and ways to solve some old problems. It should be interesting.
Thanks to Choko for stopping by. As soon as I get myself back in order I’ll set something up with you as promised. Also, special thanks to Progrocker for coming through on some A/V issues just before the show. All in all I think that part worked out pretty well and I didn’t look like a schmuck with my video production.
Updating for 2014: (Buffalo Home Show)
What a difference a year makes. Went from a vendor at the Hamburg show last year to standing in a booth for my new employer directly across from my old spot. I’ll be at the Buffalo Home Show Sat and Sun this weekend and Friday and Sat. next weekend. Stop by and I’ll let you buy me a beer.

I’ll see you there stop by my booth, I have ridiculous amounts of stuff to give away this year. I’m also raffling off 2 rolling coolers with speakers built in and some other goodies. :tup:
