There’s a reason I don’t represent them
I’d say you guys have a lot less trees to deal with…and nit wit riders.
Those insurance rates seen high, I’m only covering a 2004 500ss but with full coverage and policy is only $34/yr.
Care to elaborate? Via PM if needed, I have had State Farm for 7 years Auto/Motorcycle/Snowmobile full coverage and claims have always been a breeze to go through paid out quickly and even paid out nearly double when I reasoned with them about the initial offer.
I am curious to see if you could possibly beat my current rates with the amount of discounts I get through them.
yeah, but my sleds have MSRPs of $14,000… and the chance of a total loss say from a long ass roll down a mountain side, or an avalanche etc…
It’s nothing against State Farm at all, I actually have my insurance with them. I am a broker, not a captive. I prefer to have access to multiple companies vs. just 1. My odds of helping my clients to improve their coverage and/or save money are much higher.
I also like Progressive’s snowmobile policy, just for the fact that they offer accessory coverage. Some Homeowner’s policies allow you to add your sled to your HO policy, but if it’s escrow, you’re paying your premium on that sled through your mortgage.
Also, as I mentioned, some companies offer dirt cheap rates on the “toys”, but they require the home and auto and they usually make up the difference.
^^^my dislike for state farm is not snowmobile related. when i was rear ended the lady that hit me had state farm. nothing but a headache. plus they still wont pay to have my seat fixed which the dealer says is a $1200 repair.
state farm and geico are on my no go list.
a friend from nccc had her car totaled in an accident…took almost a month to get a check from geico so she could get a new car.
back on topic…saw some sleds riding GI when i left work today. trail conditions in the fish bowl looked pretty good from what i could see.
I’m going to attempt to ride to work tomorrow. I have an idea of the trail, I’ll be ridding solo so I’ll take it easy.
anyone have any rev parts hanging around? I could use some stuff. hood, bumber, windshield, handguards, bars or bar risors. had a little accident yesterday lol
This has to be one of the best snowmobile seasons in years, so glad I decided to not buy a sled because the season is so short:ham:
if you think you may want to dump it instead of fix it let me know im interested
im fixing it to finish the season, il be putting it for sale somewhat soon tho, spring pre-order is coming
My buddy asked me to put them on here and I forgot, until now. Not sure if they help but I can get you in touch if you like. Think his is an 06 but I can find out if you need me to.
Is your buddies sled an 800?
It is, but it’s still slower than my 700.
Did he just buy it this year?
woooo there’s so much snow out there. I just got back from 100 miles around wayne county.
How’s everyone doing for mileage? I’m at 850 so far this year.
Yeah. He sold his Fusion to guy from work and I don’t remember who he got the Rev from.
I’m guessing Bobby.
That would be too weird.
