2014 Porsche GT3

also, any real purist should be more pissed at the crazy 4 wheel steering system.

haha didn’t even care to read about that.

I meant more smiles while driving on the track lol but still that auto stick thing is ugly

lol at all the “purist” crying about no third pedal…

but you’re all o.k. with the rear wheels steering themselves (which undoubtedly is a well sorted stability control system).

For the record I’d take both the auto and nanny systems.

They may not listen to the consumer such as yourself, but they do listen to the people actually buying the cars. Read the second paragraph in this article:
http://blog.caranddriver.com/lamborghini-gallardo-replacement-will-not-offer-manual-gearbox/

Disappointed to see that there is not even a 3 pedal option. I’ll stick with my current for a while.

beaten by 2 minutes, dang searching for that article…

I guess I just have trouble believing that the majority of people who purchase these cars really care that little about the performance end of it. I know not everyone who buys a GT3 will be tracking it, but you have to figure almost anyone who has ever drove a manual understands the difference in what they’re getting and how much more stale their ownership experience will be (I Know a little dramatic lol),

The article spends a good deal in trying to “defend” the PDK. I’m guessing the push to 2 pedal comes from the fact that most cars in Europe are 3 pedal cars to begin with. The PDK is different to them, something to talk about.

Either way, the lack of a manual transmission, is a huge disappointment. I guess the 997 generation GT3 is the only one that appeals to me. Hopefully the 991 turbo will not suffer the same tragedy.

X…

You foreigners are getting as lazy as us Americans I see.

I hope one day every car is only available as an automatic just to make faggots cry about it.

The greatest love I will ever know has left my possesion. It was the perfect vehicle. Just like your 335/A4 but different in the fact that it was reliable and not a hunk of shit

Oh I can’t wait to hear of krants perfect vehicle. “Oh how I miss my pink with ostrich interior new beetle!”

It looks and sounds to be spectacular car, but I will always prefer a true manual…

Attractive.

This is what I’m saying. It looks incredible inside and out. Sounds like it will outperform pretty much anything. Yes I’ll never own one and cant afford one blah blah blah. Maybe I am a purist, certainly not crying about it because I really dont care for Porsche other than looks/design but I feel to truly DRIVE a sports car, in my opinion, it must have 3 pedals and stick.

+1 it is a driver experience that is handled by computers now. I will never be able to buy a new GT3, but my next car will be stick and rear drive.

It’s anything made by Honda or Toyota. They never break.

Perfection.

Love it

This. I love it minus the auto, i dont give a fuck if its fast shipping or not its just not as fun.

My girl has a Yaris. 65,000 on it. She bought it with less than 30k. I’ve done oil changes, one set of pads and rotors, and tires…

I really cant hate it as much as I want to. Despite how much it sounds and looks like a birth-control pill.

Walk into a Honda dealerships service department and see how many cars are there. Maybe 1 out of 6 lifts will have a car on it. And it’s on a lift for an oil change. I was just refered a customer from the guys at Athol Motorcar. He bought a CRV from me to replace his Saab. I gained a customer, they lost one.
