i cut up ones that were in accidents… not with nice paint jobs, RFP1’s etc… and it was a coupe… a two tone one… F ME!

Sad for the death of a fellow enthusiast, but not sure I grasp the concept here. I do find it ironic that “drifters” don’t want thier cars ending up in “ricers” hands, fucking lolz.

Also, the article stated that “no one was allowed to drive his car, ever”…wtf? Side rant I suppose, but people who throw money/parts at thier cars in lieu of becoming a better/faster driver, or constantly shying away from competitive driving because they need that one last part (which is never the case)…, that would seem to be a feasible outlook. Far to many people fail to realize that putting someone more experienced into your setup, can reveal HUGE amounts of data to show your where improvements can made, without changing a single part.

I don’t quite understand. Everything reads “he didn’t want any part of it to end up in the hands of teenagers” so they said they wanted to crush it with all of the goodies.

But the other article I read states that they sold the engine and transmission…

So, exactly how did they do what they sought out to do? They wanted to crush the car in its entirety to protect their friends legacy and beliefs, yet they said “Oh wait… let’s pull the engine and tranny out first, but it’ll still be the same!”

I want to know where they picked up the opertor for that fork lift. If you can’t crush the shock towers on the first try…what the fuck makes you think the 10th time in the same spot will work? Twin Village would have had that thing flatter then that in half the time.
