ORRR is it strong enough to mount a wakeboard tow line from it and get siqqq vertical?
its an old 454 - it hauls pretty well.
It has a tow/eye/hook thing on the back for skiing/wakeboarding/tubing etc…the arch is not suitable for that
as far as removing it - I have seen these exact boats with out the arch - not sure what would be left behind/need to be covered up though.
it looks a little odd in the pics but it never bothered me its kind of a cool look IRL and fitting for the boat/time period
It’s not high enough to truly be a wakeboard tower and it would DEFINITELY crack the fiberglass at the base.
