one sec
hahahaha couch airbag… im dying here laughing… that haddddddddd to hurt so badly
fixed now…
Neat, but so many things scream out to me as a problem.
Under WOT, a lot of bikes have limited contact with the ground, also, I just dont see a need to have power to the front tire… braking is accomplished 70%+ from the front…
i dont have time to type this… it just seems like a waste.
Pretty sweet, but the riding part of the video doesn’t show a lot…
Would like to see track times compared.
Will, when you add driving force to the front wheel, it will actually keep the front end on the ground more, because it will decrease the net moment about the center of gravity. You’re just SO used to diving RWD bikes that it’s hard to realize…
someone said something about the gyro of the front wheel keeping it down a bit also…not sure if that is true
meant once it lifts the slightest bit, it tries to put it back down
bingo.
One problem I see is getting too much power in a turn. Sure you can drift a bike and keep control, but I wouldn’t want to be leaning into a turn and have BOTH tires break loose.
just imagine how amazing that picture would look if you pulled it off.
i dont feel like typing my response right now, i bet track times are slower with the same rider.
depending on conditions and rider experience with the system. once someone knows how to take advantage of the added traction, and if the situation allows i bet it would accell. but yeah, out of the box, back to back, it’d probably suck.
This kind of system would kick ass on a dirt bike.
i disagree… it would cause serious washouts of the front end… allllll the time.
yea around turns your front would spin also, bad news i’d bet
though if the power was split like 70-30 then maybe it would work better?
thats exactly what i think
kind of like watching a mustang, and sti launch with the same horsepower…
even 70/30 would be a little much i’d imagine under any serious power/esp if traction up front was an issue. Ie. dirtbike.
lol
I bet it could be made to be totally awesome.
