need to tap one hole in a cast iron block, hole is present, just needs threads.

How long do you need it for?
Sometimes ACE hardware just sells their taps in plastic ziplock little baggies. When I had to tap the hole in my oil pan for a oil return, I bought it, used it, cleaned it, returned it. lol
Harbor freight has them, I have their smaller npt set and it works pretty well.
