I was really impressed, the car looks great but then upon further reading the motor has been rebuilt twice…
In your opinion, does it count or hold as much value knowing this?

Doesn’t change it for me. If he pulled the engine out and put that in a 200,000 mile P1800 and said the 200K car was the 3M miler, then yeah, problem. Hell, the engine’s only been rebuilt, not replaced, so if anything it’s even more legit.
That’s about as legit as it gets in my eyes…

Still the same engine just a rebuild. 1 rebuild every million miles for a gasoline engine is pretty amazing.
That is what I was thnking
if the body + stock type engine went 3 mil. then that’s good enough for me.
Especially in New York State. Volvos and salt.
Why haven’t we heard about the 1st or 2nd M?
