Does anyone knows if the 300zx brake calipers will fit inside the S14 16inch stock rims? (The five thick spokes one)

Yes, it will fit, without spacers, i guarantee it… Bomex is running it

With the S14 stock rim it will work, might need spacers if you use the 300ZX rims though. Weird isn’t it.

Nope the rim is mounted to the hub so there is no chance of things moving there.

The minimum spacer you will need to fit the Z32 Calipers on 7 Spoke
S13 rims is 1/4" or 5mm. You will also need longer wheel studs to
accommodate the spacers. If you don’t want spacers you can always
shave off the Nissan Logo on the front of the Caliper with a grinder.

Sorry to contradict you Phil, but the 26mm calipers will fit under the right style 7 spoke rims without a spacer. This is what I run on my race car.

The right style 7 spoke rims (yes there are two styles at least) have one re-enforcment per spoke, it’s right down the center and follows the contour of the spoke. 30mm calipers do require a minimal spacer though.

Martin is right. Asad (superman of amarok.org list) has a webpage with pictures showing which rims will fit which brakes. google it.

This combo is identical to the Z32 setup… Z32 calipers, rotors & wheels. Clearance isn’t an issue.[/quote]

I figured that much but I remember reading somewhere Julian
having a clearance Issue on his S14 with the Z32 wheels.
