Been following some threads since this ban wave started and it’s becoming very clear that one of the major ban triggers was playing the early release of Saints Row 2.
I guess it was a review copy, something that only a few people in the country should have had. :picard: What should you learn from this? If you see a release from Seed4Me avoid it like the plague because those guys are morons. That, and in general, just avoid any early release because you never know if it was ripped from a retail copy. If it’s 2+ weeks early it probably wasn’t.
A lot of people are talking about the Gears of War 2 early release as well, but a friend did play that a lot (never on live) and he was still not banned as of last night.
My console is still fine. Played my personal backup copy of R6V2 (because piracy is bad, mmmkay) for about an hour last night on live no problem. Never played GOW2 or SR2 though.
havent played xbox in a few days… last i checked i wasnt banned. the only game i did play was GOW2…but i didnt play early. i didnt get it until after it was released. ill check later…but im sure im ok.
