Gus:
I wish all 360 users were smart as you. What type of internet connection do you have to stream bluray w/out any lag or loss of packets? Because the bluray quality is a PITA to stream onto a 360. Seems like so much work and quite the bw killer.
Grammar police aren’t really out. It’s 2009 man… Chill out.
Whats the cost to get back up and running?
I’m just saying, I’ve had 0 down time, no additional fee’s, nor a single problem.
I was going to get into the whole, 360 is just developed for gamers that are loyal to a few titles… (Madden, Halo, Gears…) But you don’t seem like that type of gamer.
I’m not really trying to bash your system (okay I really am) but I don’t think it’s right having to charge the consumer more for something that is free on the Wii/PC/PS3.
In the end, I guess if all you do is play bootleg copies, cough* I mean backups, then it seems to work out for you. I’ve played many of the 360 titles… I wouldn’t pay much for them either…
i have roadrunner premier, and a fast cpu, i have no issues streaming anything.
and the ps3 network is NOWHERE near as polished as xbox live, its totally worth the 50 bucks a year. PS3 network has nothing on live, never has never will, sorry go hump your sony some more.
and my downtime is now, after at least 2 years, so umm not too shabby.

and back on topic, that sucks you got banned. if you play with fire, your eventually going to get burned. how much does it cost for a decent chip to play burned games? and what kind of burner is required to do this?
everything is free for download off of xbins FTP server, i use a pioneer burner to burn my games, never an issue and it was 30 bucks from newegg.
:word:
Most expensive thing is the actual DVDs.
OH SHIT, you are Scarfa211… I have been wondering who the fuck that is…

I do miss my 360 and the R6 late nights. I enjoy my PS3, however as of late I haven’t had much free time to turn it on let alone play it.

Meh, I’m not losing much sleep over a network that has a pretty GUI. If I had any complaint… It would be nice to pull up my browser guide/friends list while in game play. Maybe in the next firmware update.
I can’t wait until Home comes out on the PS3.
The system is so young, yet so powerful.
Sounds like you are an old gay dude picking up college boys!

WHY??? I’ve been in the beta since 5-2007, and it still sucks pretty hard. It seems like 2 guys in a basement working on it…

Dude, it screams hide the wrinkley weiner in a boy scout.
Gus:
You’re special, I forgot. Just because you say, “another one who has no clue what the fuck is going on.” Sure means I have no fucking clue… That sure makes you special.
You know what makes you even more special? You’ll have 1 system to play all your backups on, because that DVD firmware “flaw” mod, hack, jailbreak, whatever didn’t seem to pan out. And a brand new one to game online with! But still paying out the ass for service, updates, and a free bowl of soup.
TVersity kicks ass btw. In a house with 3-4 computers full of media, works fantastic.
TVersity does work fantastic, and it has worked fantastic on 360s for over a year…

Interesting that c4eva has posted the live logs and says none of the security checks have changed.
That means more than likely some of these “properly stealthed” games weren’t so properly stealthed afterall.
No definative answer yet though, but it has been confirmed that MS has not added any new checks to the system.
