I recently upgraded to a 54" panasonic plasma for the living room, was going to put this in my bedroom to replace my existing TV but it is kind of overkill.
I’d like to downsize to something like a 32" or so, so anyone looking to up-size let me know what you got.
The tv is approx 2 years old, looks good, however sometimes I have to toggle the power on and off once or twice the first time it is turned on for the day before the backlight fires. It has done that for a year now and has not gotten any better or worse. The problem is ONLY with it first turning on, never, ever, ever has the backlight gone out or anything after turning the tv on. Dunno, it’s stupid, but definitely not trying to hide anything.
If you’re looking to upgrade, let me know what you got we’ll work something out.
yea, trust me i understand about the problem, if it were me i would be concerned as well. All i can say is it has been that way for about a year now and it has never failed me… I figure if I am trading for a decent branded 32-37" i’d consider doing something straight up, but if it’s a lower branded (vizio, olevia, insignia, dynex etc) i’d need some cash on the side.
$500 is pretty rough since you can get a brand new model in the $500 range. I have a 2 year old Olevia 27". What kind of cash would you be looking for on my end?
dunno, just did a quick check seemed like $700 was the going rate new (all though thats less than what I figured it would be).
I had not really thought about selling it so i just threw a number out there.
to answer your question, dunno maybe $200 + your tv seeing as though new 27" are approx $300, versus 42" is $700? i’d rather go 32" but I guess 27 is not too bad… what model olevia is it ?
I see something like this on slickdeals a few times a week.
I think it’s a 227v but not positive. I’ll check after work. I have no issues with the tv. Buttons, remote, and whatever else are all solid. It’s currently in the bedroom.
