hot rod status etests
that wont work only cars up to 2000 can be registered as hot rod,( well thats what they said over the phone) i just did my hot rod staus for my s14 97, its has the obd2 port so they will use it for etset, i didnt have it working since my swap, i thought they said 98 and under is still tail pipe, its not so if the car is obd2 port equiped, they will uses the port,

Dunno how true that is either. My uncle took his 4runner, and it was OBDII equiped, and they still just did a sniffer test. I think it all depends on the shop, and the person doing the test.
