Isn’t there a volvo on here for like 850 bucks?
I tried getting ahold of the owner no luck. What really sucks is people say good condition , runs great and when you get there it looks like a piece of crap, shakes, doesn’t shift smoothly. I don’t know if these people ever owned a new car but that’s not how a car should drive.
I have a 2002 neon 5 speed 130K miles, solid car , needs a drivers side window crank arm piece (super cheap junk yard part) and maybe a rear wheel bearing, but the car is solid and runs and drives nice. I would do $1100 and the inspection is still good on it. If you wanna check it out its on cemetery rd. off walden.
PM me if you are serious and wanna check it out. I was going to sell it for more but I need some cash fast to finish a remodel project im working on
Just and FYI…
I spent $1200 on my Prizm 3 years ago with 110k on it.
It gets 35ish mpg. No check engines lights, no maintenance for the first 2 years minus oil change and brakes, 5 speed and 4 doors.
My biggest pet peeve has been that it doesn’t have fold down rear seats.
Would I buy another one though?
You bet your ass I would.
Fuck car payments.
It’s not unreasonable to get a car for under $1000. I paid that for my Jetta… But I ended up putting over that into it lol. That’s how it goes, I guess.
1996 Dodge Neon $450 http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/3789204593.html needs some work, tittie issues
1996 Honda Civic $950 http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/3778300282.html limited description, manual trans
1998 Dodge Neon $995 http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/3789048647.html seems to need no work 82k miles
1996 Pontiac Sunfire $1000 http://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/3786756415.html “runs rough”, lowball the shit out of them! manual trans
Good luck, ignore the angry assholes. You may find a “diamond in the rough”, with a little bit of patience.
Thanks man, that civic had a broken windshield a few other problems… I’m trying to check out two cars tomm. Thanks guys for the help!
NO WAY! You don’t say that when looking at bottom of the barrel pieces of shit that there are going to be problems. For $1000 I would demand absolute perfection. 4 new Pirelli tires, all new Stoptech brakes, a written guarantee from the seller that they will do free oil changes for life, and a gas card too with $100 on it. And even at that, you should still be able to talk them down to $500.
All those cars you posted are more like feces then diamonds in the rough. Those cars are so far away from being diamonds that they are still wood as even coal is too generous to compare them to.
And you’re a pile of shit. What’s your point? Instead of shitting up baseball24’s WTB thread you should try helping them out by posting cars that are for sale. By all means, no car at any price is perfect.
I always keep an eye out for cars that may meet your needs. Here are two more cars that on paper, don’t seem half bad.

A 92 Honda accord will never let you down.
Thanks for the help guys, got a 2002 saturn L100. I low balled the guy pretty good and he accepted. Seems pretty solid so far, only some rust on the hood and trunk.
Am I missing a backstory here with Quattro Krant or his he joking? Why the fuck is he so angy? Ive owned three <$1000 cars and one lasted me 3 years without a dime into it (literally, never even changed the oil). The other two lasted around two years.
And I get a bad name for negativity lol…
Idk I barely come on here anymore or other forums because of ignorant Internet tough guys… I knew it would take a little time to find something but I didn’t need the negativity. If I had more time I would post pics. The car is pretty clean , runs great and only problem so far is the AC needs to be recharged.
Don’t worry about him. He’s bitter
