pm silver ss he has a motor 4 sale for a good price. if you are going spend $$$ on a 3.4 why not just get a lt1. worth it in the long run
Ah the 3.4 runs again. I got the new motor in tonight, and it fired up like a champ.
I ended up at about 9 hours taking one out and putting the replacement in, all through the hood…:eek3:
I still need to add one small piece of pipe, and replace the tranny mount, and it will be ready to head off to the paint shop…:blue:

just found out tonight it has a busted heater core.

the bright side is, I’m still only sitting with a little over $700 into it. so another $100 for a heater core isnt so bad. It’s just I would rather change 6 motors than one heater core…
Well got the new heater core in tonight, and got it out of the garage for a spin. found a small leak of tranny fluid, right around the kick-down cable. So i need to fix that up. Hoping to have it ready for paint by the first of May.

Who can tell me how the hell you get the trim pieces around the doors, that help hold the headliner in place, off?
I can’t find any screws, it fells like there are clips behind, but I’m trying to not break anything else, to have to buy…
dont they have plastic clips that you push and pop off?
Not sure. I tried pulling a little, but that didn’t seem to go very far. So I thought I would ask here, I know someone on here knows.
